Loft Conversion

Drs Ed and Paula Byrne wanted extensive building work completing on their property. We were happy to quote for  range of work that needed doing and were delighted to be award the contract to complete the project.

The work that needed doing included converting the existing loft into an extra bedroom, including the addition of conservation roof lights and a Dormer window to the rear to be clad in lead sheeting, ensuring it was sympathetic with the houses in the area. They also needed an extra family bathroom and an en suite bathroom adding to the property. The central heating also needed to be extended to ensure comprehensive coverage of the house.

After discussing the schedule of work with Ed and Paula we commenced the project. We kept them fully appraised at all times of the progress of the project and what would be happening next. It was after work had started that our clients decided that now would be a good time to replace their existing roof and have the entire house rewired. We were more than happy to accommodate this into the schedule and arrange for these works to be carried. We were also then asked to complete other work that they had identified as needing to be done including replacing all internal doors at the property.

The work was all completed in a timely and professional manner and Ed and Paula were delighted with the extra space and facilities created.

Dr. Ed Byrne said, ” Just a short note to say a big thank you to Spiro and the team for the extensive building work that you did for us. All of the work was done to a very high standard and expeditiously. You were always ready to listen to our requests and usually came up better ideas based on common sense and experience. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Your team were courteous, helpful and just nice to have around. We would certainly ask you to do any further work in the future and would recommend you to potential clients.”
