We asked Spiro Borg to quote for as we had seen his work on three major projects in the neighbourhood. We had a big project involving an extension right across the back of the house meaning disruption in every room downstairs, as well as re-roofing and work at the front of the property.

We needed a builder who would not only minimise stress and delays on what could potentially have been a very messy project. We also needed someone who would communicate clearly and consult with us as the project unfolded. Spiro Borg and his team did an outstanding job.

From his initial quote to the project length we were very pleased with every aspect. The standard of workmanship across all trades was excellent and his ability to work with architects, building control, kitchen fitters, electricians , whilst keeping the momentum of the project going was very impressive. His clear communication meant we were always fully informed about the project and were notified in advance of each stage before it started and this helped to minimise the stress of having the work done. This was all conducted in the harsh winter months of December through to March but throughout, the site was kept tidy and safe enabling us to live in the property for most of the time. This was no mean feat considering Spiro and the team were working at the front, on top and at the rear of the property. I am more than happy with the result and would have no hesitation in recommending Spiro Borg to anyone.

In brief, you added a new family bathroom, extended and created a room in the attic, created an en suite bathroom, arranged for rewiring and re-roofing  of the property as well as a myriad of other works.

Spiro Borg and his team were recommended by our architects to be considered as the contractor for the redevelopment of our compact two-bedroom bungalow. The plan being to virtually rebuild and convert the property into a three-bedroom open plan bungalow with a master bedroom suite on the ground floor and a two-bedroom plus shower room dormer in the roof space.

Spiro's quotation was competitive and he completed a fantastic job within the 16 weeks he forecast that the work would take. Like with any project, unforeseen problems arose during the construction work. In each case Spiro came back to us not with the problem, but with the solution.
